'Bella ciao' (Italian pronunciation: ˈbɛlla ˈtʃaːo; 'Goodbye beautiful') is an Italian protest folk song that originated in the hardships of the mondina women, the paddy field workers in the late 19th century who sang it to protest against harsh working conditions in the paddy fields of North Italy.
Life simulation. Assume a role of a lovely young girl, named Elena, and help her develop her own career, and establish loving relationship with her beloved boyfriend, Elio. There are 13 levels, each level represents a week of Elena.s life. If Elena solves objectives of a level she will be rewarded with a date with Elio. During these 13 weeks, Elena should develop her career, health and inner balance in order to build stable love affair with the dandy. The key to success is to find balance between the five aspects of Elena's life: health, culture, family, work and harmony. Each of these is represented by a status bar that can either fill or deplete depending on Elena's actions. For example, culture points can be earned by reading or surfing the Internet. Our heroine must eat and sleep enough, because being tired or hungry causes major hits to all areas of her well-being.
Style and atmosphere inside the game:
Ciao Bella is a captivating simulation that features colourful graphics, diverse sound effects and cheerful but repetitive music. Game play runs in the following way: Elena receives some certain goals at the beginning of the week in addition to keeping her status bars filled to a certain minimum level. You move her across the town, visiting different locations, such as the mall, church, hospital, city hall, park and boutique simply by clicking on it. Each location provides different activities for her to perform, or in some cases services or items to purchase. Unfortunately, Elena can purchase items only when they are needed to fulfill a certain assignment, such as pearl necklace to save wedding of her sister, antihistamines to get rid of her allergies, perfume to appease the future mother-in-law, or a fancy dress to go to a party with Elio. All in all, Ciao Bella is the nice looking game with interesting storyline and easy click and point controls; if you like this genre, try it you won.t be disappointed.
